As per PMO statement Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Ladakh And 91 new FM transmitters of 100 watts have been installed in total districts of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. An official statement said that the Prime Minister is a firm believer in the important role of radio in reaching out to the masses.
