The Prime Minister was received at the airport by Governor SN Arya, Chief Minister Manik Saha, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Verma and Union Minister Pratima Bhowmik. Shortly after reaching at around 3.00 19 minutes, Modi left for Vivekananda Maidan, where he addressed a rally. He was warmly welcomed by school and college students on both sides of the road leading from the airport to the rally venue. PM launches various projects worth over Rs 4,350 crore in Tripura. Earlier, the Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects in Meghalaya, besides participating in the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the North Eastern Council (NEC).
