In many districts of Madhya Pradesh, activists of Bajrang Dal are protesting against the release of the film and by reaching multiplexes and theaters, the shows of the film are being stopped. Strong protests are being held in Indore, Barwani, Gwalior regarding the film. At the same time, regarding the protest against the film Pathan, former CM Kamal Nath said that this is an independent country. Those whose sentiments get hurt, make their own decision. It will not happen by protesting. It will not be understood in the society that everything is acceptable to us. There is no other country like India in the world. There is a country where there are so many religions. There are so many castes. There are so many languages. Is there any country where there are so many festivals? The film was screened on Wednesday in more than multiplexes and theaters in Indore, but Bajrang Dal workers reached the first show before the audience. They raised slogans of not allowing the film of the traitor to run and canceled the first show of the film. The activists also appealed to the audience not to watch Shah Rukh Khan's film. Bajrang Dal workers had arrived with sticks in their hands, they put pressure on the multiplex operators and said that if the show is run, they will protest inside.
