The film Pathan starring actors Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone has been released nationwide today. In many districts of Madhya Pradesh, activists of Bajrang Dal are protesting against the release of the film and by reaching multiplexes and theaters, the shows of the film are being stopped. Strong protests are being held in Indore, Barwani, Gwalior regarding the film. At the same time, regarding the protest against the film Pathan, former CM Kamal Nath said that this is an independent country. Those whose sentiments get hurt, make their own decision. It will not happen by protesting. It will not be understood in the society that everything is acceptable to us. There is no other country like India in the world. There is a country where there are so many religions. There are so many castes. There are so many languages. Is there any country where there are so many festivals? There is no country where there are so many deities. There is no such country in the world. So today we have to think about our culture without thinking one sided.

The film was screened on Wednesday in more than multiplexes and theaters in Indore, but Bajrang Dal workers reached the first show before the audience. They raised slogans of not allowing the film of the traitor to run and canceled the first show of the film. The activists also appealed to the audience not to watch Shah Rukh Khan’s film. Bajrang Dal workers had arrived with sticks in their hands, they put pressure on the multiplex operators and said that if the show is run, they will protest inside. Bajrang Dal workers returned from there after assurance from multiplex operators.

A similar protest was seen in Gwalior regarding Pathan. Hundreds of Bajrang Dal activists took out a rally and reached DD Mall in the city, where the activists warned not to play the movie Pathan in the theatre. The activists shouted slogans and warned not to allow the film to run in any cinema hall in the city.

Bajrang Dal workers protested against the film Pathan in the capital Bhopal as well. The workers reached Rang Mahal Talkies and sat on a dharna outside protesting. At the same time, he appealed people not to watch the film and called the film anti-religion

Strong protests were seen in Barwani even before the release of the film. Bajrang Dal workers reached the theaters on Tuesday itself and tore the posters of the film and set them on fire. In view of Bajrang Dal’s performance, heavy police force has been deployed outside the theatres.
