Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary to PM Modi Wrote a letter saying, I appeal to your personality that the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance has issued a notification to link Aadhaar card with PAN card online, the last date of which is March, 2023 has been fixed. In which a fine of Rs 2023 has also been fixed. I further request you that a large number of people live in extremely remote areas of the country, where internet facilities are very less available and touts have started extorting money from innocent villagers by quoting fees. This is sad. In this regard I strongly request you to give time for next six months to Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue to empower all local and sub post offices to help people to link their PAN card with Aadhaar card free of cost Give instructions to increase the limit.
