Actually Biju Janata Dal MP Bhartrihari Mahtab asked the central government five questions including the old pension scheme and sought answers. He asked the Government, will the Finance Minister be pleased to state

(a) whether the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) is being implemented in certain States of the country.

(b) If so, the details thereof and the reaction of the Government thereon.

(c) Whether the OPS will impact the State Government exchequer

(d) whether the additional financial burden on account of OPS is likely to increase the debt of the State Governments and if so, the details thereof and the action taken by the Government thereon; What is the response of .

(e) What steps have been taken by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority in this regard?
