On the lines of Himachal Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi had promised to implement old pension in Karnataka assembly elections as well. . Government employees have played a big role behind the victory of the Congress in Karnataka. Restoration of ‘old pension’ for government employees is also included in the five guarantees that Priyanka Gandhi talked about in Madhya Pradesh on Monday. This year, apart from Madhya Pradesh, assembly elections are also to be held in big states like Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. The Congress government has already implemented the old pension system in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.
