CBI to take over Odisha train accident case

Central Bureau of Investigation ( CBI will take over the investigation of Balasore train accident in which at least 175 people died and about 1 ,64 Passengers have been injured. As per procedure, the central agency will take over the Balasore GRP case number- registered on June 3 by the Odisha Police. This case was registered a day after the train accident. The case is under Sections 338, 338, A (death by negligence) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). ) and 64 (common intention) and section 175 (to protect the lives of railway passengers Unlawful and negligent act endangering life) and Railways Act 175 and (endangering life) was registered under.
