At present, tickets for pets can be booked only at the Parcel booking counters on the platform. Here too the animals are moved only in LSR or AC-1 coaches, that too after reserving the entire coupe in the latter category. On the other hand, large domestic animals (cow, buffalo, horse etc.) can be carried only in goods trains and a person can be kept to look after them.
