Delhi Commission for Women chief Swati Maliwal wrote a letter to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha and the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha on Friday. In fact, Swati has urged for the adjournment of the day’s work in both the Houses of Parliament to discuss the issue of women’s safety on the anniversary of the Nirbhaya gang rape incident. Maliwal said six cases of rape are reported every day in the national capital and crimes against women have increased like an epidemic.
