NIA Special Court Verdict: A special court of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in Assam has upheld the unity, integrity, security and sovereignty of the country. Five persons have been sentenced to eight years imprisonment each in the PLA-CPI (Maoist) nexus case of the year 2011 involving criminal conspiracy to endanger. A spokesperson of NIA gave this information. He said that three of the convicts - N Dilip Singh (Manipur) and Senjam Dhiren Singh and Arnold Singh (Assam) were members of the banned organization People's Liberation Army (PLA), while the other two convicts - Indranil Chanda and Amit Bagchi (West Bengal) were Communists of India. Belongs to Party (Maoist) i.e. CPI (Maoist). 20112011
