New Delhi : The National Investigation Agency (NIA) took major action on Tuesday in two major states of South and North India. Raids have been conducted on a large scale in Tamil Nadu and Jammu and Kashmir. According to media reports, the NIA raided six places and detained two people in a case related to illegal activities of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI) in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. On the other hand, raids were conducted at 15 places in seven districts in connection with the Pakistan-backed terrorist conspiracy in Jammu and Kashmir. In this, NIA officials raided four places in Anantnag, three places in Shopian, two places each in Budgam, Srinagar and Poonch, besides one place each in Baramulla and Rajouri.
