Increase in the entry level pay of junior lawyers required
CJI Dr DY Chandrachud in Madurai said that I would like to throw light on three issues. Firstly, there is a need to increase the salary of junior lawyers at the entry level. Second, it is important to break stereotypes related to work culture. Third, there needs to be a strong relationship between the Bar and the Bench. He said that both of us are stakeholders of the judicial system and there should be a sense of trust in functioning and coordination.

I want to make it clear that there is no problem between different parts of the country. These are signs of strong democratic functioning, not a crisis.
Centre will support independence of Indian Judiciary: Rijiju
Pointing to some media reports about alleged differences between the government and the Supreme Court or the legislature and the judiciary, the Union minister said, “We must understand that we are a democracy. There is bound to be some difference of opinion in terms of some points of view, but you cannot have conflicting views. It does not mean confrontation. We are the largest democracy in the world. Describing the bench and the bar as two sides of the same coin, he called for working together and ensuring that the court premises are not divided. He said, one cannot exist without the other.
