Indian Youth Congress President Srinivas BV can be arrested. The Assam Police had reached Srinivas’ house to arrest him but no one was present there, after which the police pasted a notice at Srinivas’s wife’s house. Assam’s Joint Commissioner of Police Prateek Thube said, ‘We have come here to investigate the matter. We had come to Srinivas wife’s house. Since there was no one here, we have pasted the notice here, we are also sending the notice to his native place. We have given him notice and asked him to appear before the investigating officer and cooperate with the investigation process.’
