It is raining and hailstorm in Shahdol division. It started raining suddenly on Tuesday afternoon at the divisional headquarters of Shahdol. Plum-sized hailstones also fell. Earlier, there was rain and hailstorm in Umaria of the division on Monday as well. Meanwhile, due to lightning strike in Umaria There is news of death of cattle. Hail fell in Shahdol on Tuesday afternoon with heavy rain. Along with Shahdol city, it has rained heavily in the surrounding rural areas as well. It rained for more than an hour on Tuesday afternoon. Intermittent rains have added to the woes of the farmers. After the hailstorm, there was chaos in the city. There was silence in Shahdol’s Gandhi Chowk as well. Meteorologist Dr. Mrigendra Singh told that in the rural areas around Shahdol, there was hailstorm along with heavy rain. Due to this the concern of the farmers has increased. Crops have been cut and kept in the barn. Some crops are in the fields only. There is a high possibility of damage due to this. Due to rain and hailstorm, the temperature has dropped significantly. On the other hand, lightning struck village Kumurdu in Birsinghpur Pali block of Umaria district Cattle have died on the spot . The owners of the cattle are demanding compensation from the government. Villagers told that village Kumurdu in Birsinghpur Pali block of Umaria district was struck by lightning. From Cattle died . ,
