Deepak Joshi, Former Minister – Photo: Amar Ujala Expansion Deepak Joshi, son of former CM Kailash Joshi, will join Congress on 6th May. Deepak Joshi praised former CM Kamal Nath while making serious allegations of corruption against BJP leaders. Joshi said that he would not contest the elections. If the party will contest, then it is ready to contest against Shivraj Singh from Budni. Deepak Joshi answered many important questions in conversation with Amar Ujala. Question- You switched off the phone and sat down after announcing to join Congress?2023 Answer-I was continuously getting calls from BJP and RSS. That’s why I switched off the phone. I haven’t done anything wrong that I should be afraid of anyone.

Question – When are you joining Congress? Answer- I am coming to Bhopal on 6th May. Taking father’s picture from my bungalow, I will go to Kamal Nath ji’s bungalow in a simple way. No band baaja or show off. My father lived with honesty and simplicity. Similarly, I will join the Congress party. I will have some of my supporters with me.

Question Sudden decision to leave the party. What happened? Answer- See, my father was the Chief Minister. Member of Parliament from Bhopal. Be a voter from there. Nothing in his name. When asked to build his memorial, Kamal Nath ji asked, tell me where the land is required. In Hatpipliya, land was allotted in three months. Shivraj ji took 233 months to approve the memorial.

He had nothing left except a three-room house. I was a former minister, our land did not increase an inch. How the wealth of these people is increasing. Sitting in AC rooms, took big vehicles. Where is all this coming from? Question- Regarding vacating government residence in Bhopal Discussion? Answer- My elder brother Prakash Joshi is handicapped. Father wanted him to stay in Bhopal for treatment. Bungalows are allotted in his name only. I have taken out my belongings. Now I will not even go inside that bungalow.
