The reason behind this is an order issued by him in which he has written a letter to the mid-day meal committee, instructing that the collector himself will taste the mid-day meal served to the children before the children. In his absence, the senior officers of the district will test his quality. Recently, Katni Collector Avi Prasad went on a tour of the government school located at Carin Line, Madhavnagar. Where the collector also had mid-day meal along with the children. During that time the quality of food was not as per the guidelines of the government. Angered by this, the collector issued a notice to the Adarsh Religious Paramarthik and Educational Service Committee and summoned the reply. Collector Avi Prasad Order issued. All the mid-day meal committees have been asked to send one tiffin of the mid-day meal to the children to the collector first. Collector himself will consume it. In his absence, senior officers will investigate. If there is a difference between the tiffin sent to the collectorate and the mid-day meal sent to the school, punitive action will be taken to mislead the government and consider it as fraud. ,
