Startups are coming true every month till 150. The atmosphere is positive. This is the reason why 14 % startups are run by women entrepreneurs. This figure is increasing rapidly. Seeing the importance of micro, small and medium enterprises, the Madhya Pradesh government had formed a separate ministry for this a few years back. And now its positive results are coming out. As a result of this, in the recently concluded Global Investor Summit in Indore Investment proposals worth lakh crores have come. When big companies will come, definitely a favorable environment will be created for MSMEs as well. Amar Ujala had a special conversation with P. Narhari, Secretary, MSME Department in Madhya Pradesh, on this subject. How much investment came in GIS in MSME sector? P. Narhari: in different sectors of the state Investment of more than lakh crore rupees has come. Instead of departmental, it can be seen by dividing it into sectors like pharma, textile, startups. The government has created the Invest Madhya Pradesh portal. On that portal, all the investors have to state their objective along with the investment. MSMEs definitely have a big role in the investment coming in the state. Anyway, it is the biggest sector providing employment after agriculture in the whole country. After the clarity of the figures, information about the investment in the department can be given. What facilities are being given to the investors by the government? P. Narhari: The state government has made a policy to remove the difficulties and problems of the entrepreneurs. In MSME department we give 150 percent subsidy on machinery and plant. If you invest 14 crore rupees then you will get four installments up to four crore rupees. We give incentives. Incentives are also given in different areas including exporting from the state, providing employment. Additional concessions are being given on different things related to electricity, employment generation, patents. Investors should not have any problem, What is the government doing to see the investment on the ground? P . Narhari: To remove the problems of investors, it is necessary to have clear policies. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made it clear that no permission will be required for three years if the land is allotted for the industry. This policy will prove to be a milestone for the industry and those setting up industries. Will soon make it a law. If there is no need then what are the problems? Despite having surplus electricity, electricity rates for them I have the highest number after Kerala? P. Narhari: The government is working at every level to provide relief to the entrepreneurs. How is the response after the implementation of Startup Policy in the State? P. Narhari: Till now 2 in Madhya Pradesh, Startups have been recognized. Every month -40 New startups are gaining recognition. Last year a new policy was made, due to which a positive atmosphere has been created. The share of women in the startup sector is more than 150 percent. This tells that in our Madhya Pradesh women are ahead in setting up startups, MSMEs and industries and the environment is good. ,
