Accused arrested – Photo: Amar Ujala Expansion Police has arrested a unique thug in Gwalior. The Gwalior police has arrested the father who committed the fraud by promising his daughter’s marriage. The vicious thug has so far made three people his victims. The accused came under police arrest when he had duped his new victim of more than one lakh rupees and nine buffaloes in the name of marrying off his daughter. But when the matter reached the police, the forgery of the thug was revealed. Till now, the cases of raping or grabbing money on the pretext of marriage have been coming in front of the police. But an interesting case reached the Gwalior police, in which a father cheated nine buffaloes and one lakh eight thousand rupees from the complainant (groom) in the name of getting his daughter married. The case pertains to Bhanwarpura police station of Ghatigaon area. SDOP Santosh Patel says, complainant Krishna Singh Gurjar had lodged a complaint that Ghanshyam Gurjar had killed his daughter. The marriage was arranged with her brother. He took one lakh eight thousand rupees from her in the name of marriage, but even after a year, he did not get his daughter married to his brother. On talking again, he asked Ghanshyam for nine more buffaloes, which the complainant gave him. But still did not get the daughter married. On investigating the matter, it was found that the accused Ghanshyam has no daughter who is marriageable. Even before this, the accused Ghanshyam has cheated many people in the name of getting their daughter married. At present, the police have arrested the accused and also recovered the buffalo from his possession. ,
