A tribal girl was paraded around wearing a garland of shoes – Photo: Social Media Expansion In Betul district, a case has come to light of a girl student being paraded with a garland of shoes on the suspicion of stealing money in tribal girls’ hostel. According to the information, the superintendent of the hostel allegedly paraded a class five girl student wearing a garland of shoes, after the matter came to the fore, the Betul district administration has ordered an inquiry into the matter. The incident is being told last week of a government tribal girls hostel of Damjipura village. To complain about this, the family of the girl reached the office of District Magistrate Amanveer Singh Bains on Tuesday. After hearing the complaint of the girl’s father, Bains said that he has ordered an inquiry, based on which action will be initiated. An official of the Tribal Affairs Department said that the lady superintendent of the hostel has been removed from the post. The girl’s father told the media that his daughter informed him about this when he went to meet his daughter at the tribal hostel in Damjipura. He alleged that his daughter was put on make-up to look like a ghost and that the other girl was by the Superintendent. On the charge of stealing money, he was garlanded with shoes and paraded in the hostel premises. He said that after the incident his daughter was not ready to stay in the hostel. Shilpa Jain, Assistant Commissioner, Tribal Affairs Department said that after the complaint, the hostel superintendent has been removed from the post. Jain said that an inquiry has been ordered and further action will be taken on the basis of it. ,
