The court has sentenced the MLA to two years in the land fraud case. In this matter, the Assembly Secretariat had issued a notice to the MLA on Sunday. After not getting the answer, on Thursday, the secretariat stopped their facilities including their salary. Let us tell Chief Secretary of the Legislative Assembly AP Singh said that there is a provision in the Representation of the People Act that an MLA should be elected for two years. or more than that, he becomes disqualified. The Sumavali MLA had received information about the sentence being pronounced by the court. After this a notice was issued to him. In this he was asked to present his side. There was no response from their side on this till Friday afternoon. After waiting till this week, the matter will be placed before the Speaker on Monday. Assembly Speaker will take further action. Singh told that the salary of the MLA has been stopped from Thursday. Apart from this, now he will not be given the coupons for the coming and going of the railway, if he is a member of any committee, then his allowance will not be given. If the decision on membership is taken on Monday, then the MLA will not be able to participate in the upcoming assembly meeting. There, there is information in this matter that the MLA is preparing to file a petition in the High Court in his case.
