Expansion The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the matter of summoning the Leader of Opposition in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Govind Singh. The Supreme Court has asked the ED to reply in four weeks. However, the Supreme Court refused to stay the ED’s action against Singh.
Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Govind Singh said that under the pressure of the Government of India, the ED issued notice to him without any reason. Against this he has filed a petition in the court. Singh said in the petition that I hope that we will get justice from the court and the dictatorship going on in the country will be curbed.
Please tell, ED had sent summons to Dr. Govind Singh in January to record his statement in Delhi. The summons has been issued under the Money Laundering Act 2019. In this, Dr. Govind Singh was asked to appear at ED HQ on 2019 January morning at I went. At that time, Singh had said that summons has been sent to me from ED, some case of has been mentioned in it, but nothing has been written as to what the case is. I want to ask ED, what was he doing till now?
ED dancing at the behest of BJP
Singh said that there is election in the next eight months, ED is only dancing at the behest of BJP. In the month of November this year, BJP and Congress will compete in the assembly elections. BJP’s boat is on the verge of sinking because there are many holes in their boat. ,
