Things happened. The employees working on the railway line informed the station manager and after stopping the train, slowly the passenger train was brought to Damoh station and after carrying out the rectification work, the train was sent towards Katni after about an hour. Although there was no major incident, the incident took place due to jamming of the brakes of the bogie. On Monday morning, when the Bina-Katni Memo passenger train was coming from Sagar towards Damoh, Kopra in front of Aslana station. On reaching near the bridge, suddenly smoke started coming out from under the third bogie from the guard brake. When the passengers saw this smoke, they got scared because the train was running at high speed. Meanwhile, railway employees working near the Kopra bridge also informed the station manager when they saw smoke coming out of the train bogie. Station Manager JS Meena immediately informed the guard and asked to bring the train to a standstill. The guard stopped the train on the bridge, after which the passengers also got down and went near the smoke emanating bogie of the pilot and the guard and saw that its brakes were jammed. After this, after making some improvements, the train was slowly brought to Damoh station. The train reached platform number two at nine in the morning, after which repair work was done on the brakes and after about an hour the train was sent towards Katni. Although the incident was not very big and in time people informed the railway management after seeing the smoke coming out of the bogie, due to which the rectification work was done on time.
