IAS Prateek Hajela – Photo: Amar Ujala Expansion The services of senior IAS officer Prateek Hajela of the Assam-Meghalaya cadre have been returned by the state government to the parent cadre Assam-Meghalaya. Batch IAS Hajela had come to Madhya Pradesh on deputation for three years. 31 march 2023 after completion of three years, the state government took back the charge of the AYUSH department and issued an order to relieve Hajela. Hajela told danger to life Prateek Hajela is basically a resident of Bhopal. Prateek Hajela was trying to extend his deputation. For this, Hajela had threatened his life. He also went to the court for this. But the Supreme Court did not get any relief regarding extension of Hajela’s deputation. Case registered under anti-national law 2022 Prateek Hajela September 1995 to November 2018 was posted as the State Coordinator of the National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Assam. NRC State Coordinator Hitesh Dev Sarma has lodged an FIR in CID on Hajela in May 2022. According to Sarma’s complaint, Hajela, being the NRC State Coordinator, knowingly wrongly included people as Indian citizens. For this, he has also been accused of making a mistake in the software. Because of this, a case has been registered against Hajela under anti-national law. Apart from Hajela, the names of other officers and employees are also included in the FIR. ,
