Detail November in the state- There are assembly elections in December. Earlier, the issue of Uniform Civil Code ‘UCC’ has cropped up again. The BJP government of the state is preparing to form a committee regarding UCC. Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang said that this law should be implemented in the entire country. Now Congress MLAs have come to protest against this. MLA Arif Masood said that if UCC is brought, we will openly oppose it. One country, one law is not possible in India. Everyone’s traditions are different here.
The Home and Law Department of the State Government is in discussion to provide the details along with the action of other states regarding UCC to the Government. The government can take action regarding this soon. However, no official confirmation has been made about it yet. Earlier in December 1634898887 Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had given a statement regarding UCC. He had said that soon a committee will be constituted in the state for this. However, later the matter calmed down. Now, before the elections, the rumor has started again. Regarding this, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang said that the Uniform Civil Code Act should be implemented across the country. Let us tell you, the Central Law Commission has issued a draft of the UCC and has sought opinion from across the country in a month. The central government is also keen to move fast in this direction.
Will protest openly: Arif Masood Congress MLA from Bhopal Central Assembly seat Arif Masood said that if UCC is brought, we will openly oppose it. This is propaganda to destroy the country. He said that the country is identified with Hindu-Muslim unity. One country one law is not possible in India. Different religions have different traditions. The makers of the constitution have made it very thoughtfully. He termed it as an election stunt of the government. Masood said that the government is targeting the minorities. If UCC comes, it will cause problems not only for Muslims but also for other religions. He appealed to the people to oppose the UCC who believe in Babasaheb Ambedkar. ,
