The district administration razed the illegally constructed four-storey hotel to the ground in a few seconds by using dynamite. Accused Mishrichand Gupta is accused of killing a young man by crushing him with a car in an election rivalry. Dynamites were planted. Then on Tuesday evening it was blasted and demolished in a few seconds. Sagar District Collector Deepak Arya, DIG Tarun Nayak and other police officers were present during the action. Hotel Jairam Palace of accused Mishrichand Gupta and his family is located near Makaronia intersection. The construction of the four-storey hotel was declared illegal. After this, the police and administration team reached on Tuesday to take action to demolish the hotel. Traffic was stopped by putting barricade for security. The houses of the people living around the hotel were evacuated. During this, the police force was also deployed. Independent councilor’s nephew was crushed by a jeep On the night of December 2, Jagdish Yadav alias Jaggu was crushed to death by a jeep at Makronia Square. Jagdish (30) was a resident of Koregaon of Makronia police station area. He used to work at Pawan Yadav’s dairy at Makaronia intersection. He was the nephew of independent councilor Kiran Yadav. Kiran Yadav defeated Mishrichand Gupta’s wife Meena in the councilor election by 243 votes.
Mishrichand Gupta Absconding It is alleged that he was murdered in election enmity. A case was registered against eight people in the murder case, out of which five people have been arrested.
