Because of this, the government is not able to take action even if it wants to. Keeping this in mind, the Home Department has prepared a bill to ban hookah lounges. This will be discussed in the cabinet meeting on Tuesday. On the need of this bill, Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh Dr. Narottam Mishra said that till now hookah lounge is banned in Madhya Pradesh. and is not defined. Keeping this in mind, the Home Department has prepared the bill. It will be presented in the cabinet meeting on Tuesday. The bill will be approved after discussion in the cabinet. The government will try to pass this bill in the winter session of the assembly. Punishment provisions
In the bill prepared by the Home Department, strict rules have been made for hookah lounge. If the hookah lounge is found to be running, then there will be a provision of punishment of one to three years for the operator in this bill. Similarly, there can be a fine of fifty thousand to one lakh rupees. The provision of this bill says that any police officer of the rank of sub-inspector and above will be able to crack down on any hookah lounge.
