A similar incident has come to the fore from Birsa Munda Medical College, Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh. Where an injured mental patient wandering on the road was not only given proper treatment in the medical college, but his family was traced and sent along with his relatives. Actually, a patient was brought to the mental treatment department of the medical college a week ago by the police. The police told the doctors that they found this person on the way in an injured condition. He was not even able to tell his name and address due to his mental condition not being good. He also had fractures in his hands and feet. After this, his treatment was started by the doctors in the Medical College. Due to proper care and treatment, his mental condition started recovering after a week. After a few days, on being asked by the doctors, he told his name as Kishan Chandel. Along with this, he also described himself as a resident of Durg district of Chhattisgarh. The doctors, under the guidance of Dr Milind Siralkar, dean of the college, traced Kishan's family members and spoke to them over phone. After this he was called to Shahdol after giving information about the whole matter. On Friday, Kishan was sent to his home along with his family. Such people suffer from this disease Doctors told That people who wander on the road like this unconsciously have a disease called disorganized schizophrenia. People suffering from this disease do work like garbage picking, wandering on the road. Doctors told that such people can be easily treated. ,
