Madhya Pradesh High Court - Photo: Social Media Expansion Global Positioning System (GPS) has been installed in all vehicles engaged in distribution of food grains under the Public Distribution System (PDS) in the state. This information was presented in the High Court on behalf of the government. Taking the government's reply on record, a division bench of High Court Chief Justice Ravi Vijay Kumar Malimath and Justice Vishal Mishra disposed of the PIL. Tell me, the year 1678901030 in the petition filed on behalf of All India Consumer Uplift Organization, it was said that the provisions contained in the MP Public Distribution Control Order Under this, it is mandatory to install GPS devices in all such vehicles of the state which transport food grains. It was said in the petition that despite the order, the device has not been installed in the transport vehicles. Due to which complaints of theft and disturbances are continuously coming to light. While hearing the petition, the High Court had ordered the government and the Corporation to present the facts in this regard. In the reply presented by Madhya Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited, it was told that the Corporation and all the contracted GPS tracking devices have been installed in the vehicles. Along with this, command and control center for GPS tracking has also been established and made operational. ,
