On the instructions of the Central Government, along with increasing the testing, the State Government has instructed the districts to conduct genome sequencing of the samples of each positive patient. Meanwhile, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang reached the State Virology Laboratory in Bhopal on Friday. Along with inspecting the machines, took information from the officials. Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang said that according to the instructions of the Central Government, genome sequencing of positive cases will be done. After AIIMS in Bhopal, genome sequencing can be tested only in the State Virology Laboratory. He told that genome sequencing of 43 positive cases can be done at one go. Currently 43 thousand beds and oxygen are available in sufficient quantity. Vishwas Sarang said that no positive patient has been found in Madhya Pradesh in the last two days. Presently there are four active patients of Corona in the state. All patients are in home isolation. Every instruction of the Central Government will be followed literally. He also assured that the precaution dose of corona vaccine is available in sufficient quantity.
Lab authorized to test the new variant Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that to investigate the new variant of Corona in the state, the state government has set up DRDO lab in Gwalior and Bhopal AIIMS has been authorised. He also said that everyone will have to follow the guidelines to prevent Covid. He taunted Rahul Gandhi regarding the danger of Corona in Bharat Jodo Yatra. He said that this is a separate topic.
