Indicative picture – Photo: Social Media Expansion The Bench of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Jabalpur has taken a serious note of the non-grant of appointment to the petitioner despite the order. While hearing the contempt petition filed by Justice AK Srivastava and Justice Rajesh Chandra, the General Manager of West-Central Railway and DRM Bhopal Saurabh Kumar Bandhopadhyay along with Senior Personnel Officer Ajay Kumar Dixit have been personally summoned. The next hearing on the petition has been scheduled on 415 April. Tell that the petition was filed on behalf of Shivansh Pandey, who lives in Hoshangabad district. It said that the railway department had acquired the land registered in his father’s name. There is a provision to give job to one member of the family in the acquisition of land. He was offered a job as a trackman. Being disabled, he had applied for posting to some other department, which was rejected. After this, he was ready to work as a trackman. He had filed a petition in CAT challenging the non-availability of job by Railways. Hearing this, orders were issued to issue appointment letters to him in seven days. Due to non-compliance of the order, the said petition was filed. It was said in the contempt petition that senior personnel officer Ajay Kumar Dixit has issued orders that compensation of Rs five lakh will be given in lieu of the job. Taking this seriously, the Jugalpeeth has summoned the officials. Senior advocate N S Rooprah appeared for the petitioner. ,
