Villagers came to know about conversion by setting up a pandal on Friday in Nakjhar village of Bahri tehsil. Where the villagers created a ruckus and complained about it to the in-charge of the deaf police station. On the basis of the complaint, the police reached the spot and started questioning by taking five people into custody. Prayer documents have also been received from the spot. Bahri police station in-charge Pawan Singh told that the villagers told that a pandal was set up in Nakjhar village at around 3 pm. In which a poster of women empowerment and malnutrition was also displayed. More than a hundred tribals and villagers were called here. Chairs were also installed in the pandal and the stage was also made. Along with this, five people were tricking the villagers here. It is alleged that these people were convincing the villagers that they would not fall ill after conversion. They will also be saved from evil spirits and witchcraft. Prayer meeting was also to be organized after the programme, but before that the villagers got a clue about it. The police also recovered three registers from the spot. The police have also received several prayer letters and other documents from here. The police have detained two others along with two residents of Singrauli and one resident of Sidhi district. While giving information, Sidhi District Additional SP Anju Lata Play has told that the villagers have tried to convert in Nakjhar village. The complaint was made in Bahri police station. On receiving the complaint, the police reached the spot and started investigation. Action will be taken on the basis of evidence found from the spot. ,
