One of these MLAs has been declared ineligible for facilities including participation in the winter session. Now the final decision of membership will be taken by Assembly Speaker Girish Gautam. Madhya Pradesh High Court has asked to cancel the membership of two MLAs. In this, a notice has been issued by the Assembly Secretariat in one case. In the second case, information is still awaited. Kushwaha trapped in land fraud case2020 The court has sentenced Congress MLA Ajay Singh Kushwaha from Sumavali seat of Morena to two years in jail in a land fraud case. According to the provision of the Representation of the People Act, there is a rule to terminate the membership if there is two years in jail. Kushwaha had defeated Andal Singh Kansana of BJP in the by-election of 2020. After this, difficulties were faced in the matter of selling the government land for Rs. I was stuck. Rahul is the son of Harbal Singh Lodhi, elder brother of former chief minister Uma Bharti. He has become an MLA for the first time. Congress candidate Chanda Rani Gaur who lost the election against him in 2020 filed an election petition in the High Court. The Election Officer was accused of accepting the nomination against the rules and concealing the fact of having a partnership in a private company that got the government contract. The High Court nullified the election. Instructions have been given to give this information to the Election Commission. Rahul Lodhi has appealed in the Supreme Court.
