ट्रेन में यात्री एग्जिक्यूटिव श्रेणी कोच में आरामदायक सफर का आनंद ले सकेंगे। एग्जिक्यूटीव क्लास में रिवॉल्विंग चेयर रहेगी, जो 180 डिग्री तक घूम सकती है। ट्रेन में खाने की सुविधा भी रहेगी। उज्जैन से भोपाल के लिए दस मिनट के अंतराल में दो ट्रेनों का संचालन होगा।

मालवा क्षेत्र की पहली वंदे भारत ट्रेन मंगलवार से शुरू हुई। ट्रेन की कमान उज्जैन के ट्रेन मैनेजर एस के यादव एवं मंगलचंद्र जाखड़ के हाथों में रही। ट्रेन मैनेजर यादव को दो बार-पांच-पांच हजार रुपये के कैश अवार्ड पश्चिम रेलवे के जीएम सम्मानित किया जा चुका है। वहीं एक बार रतलाम मंडल के डीआरएम से भी अवार्ड मिल चुका है।
