Will be implemented with the help of National e-Governance System Portal. This will prevent irregularities like making fake FDRs. Now offline receipt is verified in Excise Department by depositing it in FD bank. Taking advantage of this, the liquor contractors and officials in Indore conspired to sell FDs of 7 thousand 414 lakhs and 23 FD scam by telling FD of thousand as 7 crores. For this, the contractors along with the officials deposited less amount in the bank and prepared fake FDRs. Such cases are coming up in the Excise Department. Those who are also being suppressed by the department. Now the department has started the initiative to start the online verification process of FDR to prevent this malpractice.

Portal Verification will be done directly from The department is building a new system with the National e-Governance System Portal (NESL). After the commencement of this process, the officials of the department will be able to verify the FD deposited in the bank of the liquor contractors online on the portal of NESS. This will eliminate the possibility of forgery.
