Expansion A pregnant woman who was hit by a speeding car in Katni district of Madhya Pradesh died along with her unborn child. It is being told that the woman Ratto Bai was returning home after getting her pregnancy checked with her husband Subhash Kol, when a speeding car coming from behind hit her hard. Due to which Ratto Bai died on the spot.

Police said that the deceased Ratto Bai had come to Raja Sarju Prasad Hospital for her treatment. While returning to village Karitalai, the car driver of Kaimor hit from behind and fled from the spot. A pregnant woman died in the incident, whose post-mortem was conducted at Vijayraghavgarh Health Center.

Accident happened due to uncontrolled car The police told that the vehicle has been traced. The vehicle was said to belong to the Camor area, which the driver has parked in the Camor police station premises. The accused driver says that the vehicle had become uncontrolled, due to which the accident happened. He ran away from the spot fearing the crowd and then reached the police station and parked the car. The local police have started investigation by registering a case against the accused driver under various sections. ,
