Murder of laborer – Photo: Amar Ujala Expansion A case of murder of a laborer has come to light behind the BJP office located near the Civil Line Police Station area in Rewa. There has been a stir in the area due to the murder of the laborer. The deceased has been identified as Shyamlal Adivasi resident of Khandi district Sidhi. Earlier the laborer used to work in Meerut. He had come to Rewa a few days ago, where his wife works as a laborer. The laborer was sleeping in an under-construction house, where around 2 am some persons came and started assaulting him. As soon as the wife got a glimpse of the fight, she went to call her brother-in-law, Chhote Lal Adivasi, who was present at a little distance. By the time she returned, the laborer had been murdered. CSP Shivali Chaturvedi, TI Hitendranath Sharma and station in-charge of other police stations and heavy police were present on the spot. Police started investigating the matter. ,
