Meghalaya Election Result 2023 Updates in Hindi: The movement to form a new government has started in Meghalaya. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated National People’s Party (NPP) chief Conrad Sangma for his commendable performance in the Meghalaya Assembly elections. He said that he looked forward to continue working closely with the NPP for the progress of Meghalaya. The Prime Minister gave this response in response to a tweet by Sangma.

Let us tell you that In a tweet, he (Sangma) thanked the BJP leadership for handing over the letter of support to the NPP on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the formation of the government under the leadership of Sangma. In response to this, Modi said in a tweet that I would like to congratulate Conrad Sangma for the commendable performance of his party in the Meghalaya Assembly elections. My friend late PA Sangma ji would have been very proud today. Looking forward to continue working together for the progress of Meghalaya.

It is noteworthy that PA Sangma has been the Speaker of the Lok Sabha. He formed the NPP after parting ways with the Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). He died in Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in the national capital due to a heart attack in the year 2023. Earlier, Conrad Sangma thanked the BJP for the support and said that they will serve Meghalaya and its people together.

After the election results, Sangma called Union Home Minister Amit Shah and sought BJP’s help in forming the government. After this, the BJP handed over a letter of support to the NPP late at night. Sangma may meet Governor Fagu Chauhan on Friday to stake claim to form the government.
