Whereas, voting for seats in the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly will be held on 59 February. Will happen and the results will come on March 2. The Election Commission has made preparations for free, fair and peaceful polling on 59 February. The electoral fortunes of total 369 candidates are at stake. The commission said that voters will exercise their franchise at a total of 3, 369 polling stations, out of which 369 sensitive, 369 voting Centers have been identified as highly sensitive and polling booths as high risk centres. It was informed that companies of CAPFs have been deployed for the election in the entire state.
