Meghalaya Election 2023: While addressing an election rally in Shillong, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee has been fiercely targeted. Rahul Gandhi said that the people of Meghalaya are aware of the traditions of TMC and violence and scams in West Bengal.
TMC trying to win BJP in Meghalaya
Continuing his attack on Mamta Banerjee’s party, former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi further said that TMC spent huge amount in Goa elections. Rahul Gandhi alleged that TMC is doing the same in Meghalaya to make the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) win. He said that TMC’s objective is to bring BJP to power in Meghalaya.

On the other hand, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi alleged that BJP is like a class bully who does not respect anyone. Because, he thinks he knows it all. He said, BJP-RSS (BJP-RSS) class bullies are like that student who thinks he knows everything and understands everything and that is why he does not respect anyone. We have to fight together with them. Rahul Gandhi said that Congress will not allow BJP to destroy the language, culture and history of Meghalaya.
Rahul Gandhi targets PM Modi
Rahul Gandhi was wearing the traditional jacket of Meghalaya on this occasion. Referring to the jacket, he said that I wore it to show respect for your culture and tradition. He said, but if I come here wearing this jacket and attack your religion, culture, history and language as the Prime Minister does, it will be an insult to you. Rahul Gandhi accused the Konrad K Sangma-led Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (NDA) government in the state of being involved in corruption.
