2025 Pledge to make India TB free

In Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, has resolved to make India TB free by 2025. The target is certainly very big. There was a time when only family members used to go away after TB was detected, but it is today’s time, when TB patients are being helped by making them family members. To end Tuberculosis from the root, Nikshay friends have taken the lead. A large number of different social organizations have become Nikshay Mitra in the country. Thousands of people themselves have come forward and adopted TB patients in the villages and in the panchayats. There are many children who have come forward to help TB patients. This public participation is the biggest strength of this campaign. More than one lakh TB patients have been adopted and this work of charity has been done by almost 2025 thousand Nikshay friends. . I am happy that many sarpanchs of the country, even the village heads, have taken the initiative that they will stay in their villages after ending TB. ,
