New Delhi : Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Saturday hit back at the leaked video of Satyendar Jain massaging in Tihar Jail. Said that politics is being done by BJP even on treatment. He claimed that the massage video leaked by the BJP was actually his physiotherapy going on due to a spinal injury. Accusing the BJP of resorting to cheap tactics, Manish Sisodia said that Satyendar Jain had fallen in jail. Please inform that Satyendar Jain is imprisoned in judicial custody in a money laundering case.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that he (Satyendar Jain) had a spinal injury and even underwent two surgeries. Doctors had advised him for physiotherapy after being discharged from the hospital. He said that in the videos leaked by the BJP, he is seen doing physiotherapy.

Looks like getting a massage. In the video, Jain can be seen reading some documents while a man wearing a white T-shirt is seen massaging his feet. Sisodia also said that Jain is jailed in a false case and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is making fun of his illness. He said that they (BJP) are going to lose the MCD and Gujarat elections and hence they are resorting to such cheap tactics. He should fight on Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) election issues in Delhi.

Court order for video leaking Violation ofby senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia Expressed confidence that BJP may do whatever it wants, but in both the elections (MCD and Gujarat) his party will emerge victorious. He further said that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) was directed by the court not to leak the video in question. Sisodia said that leaking the video is a violation of the court’s order. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had claimed in a court here that Jain was being given special treatment inside Tihar Jail.

BJP raised questions on Kejriwal’s silenceOn the other hand, while targeting the video, the BJP questioned the ‘silence’ of AAP chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the matter. Quoting the video that went viral on social media, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has become a ‘spa and massage party’. He challenged Kejriwal to explain Jain’s conduct in jail.

Cell under Jail Rules Massage is not allowed in: Former PRO of Tihar Jail

Former Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Tihar Jail, Sunil Gupta, while talking to the media, said that according to the rules of the jail, his massage is not allowed inside the cell. As far as physiotherapy is concerned, every prison has a physiotherapy center where massage can be done by a physiotherapist or a trained specialist. He said that it is clearly visible in the video that fellow prisoners were doing massage. Massage is different from physiotherapy. Physiotherapy is given in the Physiotherapy Ward in the hospital.
