For information, let us tell you that Amit Shah held two video conferences, in which the Chief Minister of Manipur, Chief Secretary of the State, Chief of Police, Union Home Secretary and other senior officers of the Central Government were present. In view of the situation in Manipur, Amit Shah spoke to Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma on phone. Meanwhile, at least five Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) level officers and seven Senior Superintendent of Police and Superintendent of Police level CRPF officers have been entrusted with the deployment of security forces in violence-hit Manipur, sources said.
