The campaign against child marriage will continue for next three to four days and after getting all the data, a proper district wise analysis can be done. Also he informed that Apart from the members of the families who performed the marriage, the police arrested 51 ‘Purohits’ and ‘Qazis’ who performed such marriage rituals in religious institutions. He said these arrests were made after verification of information received from family members, child welfare committee, local people and police personnel.
