Ajit Pawar rebelled and captured NCP

It is known that on 2 July Pawar defected from the Sharad Pawar-founded NCP and joined the Shinde-BJP government as deputy chief minister. Eight other NCP MLAs also took oath as ministers in the state cabinet. After the rebellion, Ajit Pawar took over the NCP. He has filed a petition in the Election Commission regarding the party and election symbol. Not only this, he declared himself the National President of NCP and removed Sharad Pawar from the post. Although Sharad Pawar called himself the president of NCP and said, he will not allow anyone to capture the party formed by him.
