Dr Shivraj Manaspure, CPRO, Central Railway while talking about the incident said that it was an empty Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) rake and there were no passengers in it. Due to the absence of anyone in the train, there was no casualty in this accident. At present, every effort is being made to get the derailed empty rake back on track and resume services on this route. Due to the local train service, about 40 lakh passengers travel. Had this train not been empty, there could have been a lot of damage to life and property. ,
