Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday criticized former Shiv Sena chief minister Uddhav Thackeray’s faction for using ‘Urdu’ language on banners during a rally in Nashik’s Malegaon area. Fadnavis said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is not opposed to any specific language, but is concerned that the Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) is allegedly trying to gain mileage by adopting tactics “to please the people”. These are against the ideals of Bala Saheb- Fadnavis
The Deputy Chief Minister also said that Thackeray would be held accountable to Balasaheb Thackeray for such actions in future. Fadnavis’ remarks came at a time when he and Thackeray were seen chatting and walking together after entering the state assembly premises. Fadnavis was seen waiting for Thackeray in the parking area for a few minutes before greeting him at the main gate. Then both of them kept talking for some time while walking together.
Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) retaliated

Another video shows senior BJP leader and Union minister Nitin Gadkari attending an iftar party with Fadnavis.
Shinde also criticized Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction)
Earlier, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde accused the Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) of “deliberately insulting” Savarkar by the Thackeray faction, which supports Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, after the conclusion of the budget session.
