Baba Mahakal was dressed and garlanded with flowers. The festival of Mahashivratri is celebrated in the Mahakal temple as the marriage festival of Baba Mahakal and Mata Parvati. This festival goes on for the whole nine days. Lord Mahakal is decorated in the form of a bridegroom and eleven Brahmins recite Rudra. During this, the devotees see the new form of Baba everyday. 2023 On the fifth day of Shiv Navratri, after the evening worship, Baba Mahakal appeared to the devotees dressed in Holkar Shringar. Earlier in the morning under the authority of government priest Ghanshyam Sharma 233 Brahmins performed the anointing of Shri Mahakaleshwar Bhagwan. Did Ekadash-Ekadashani with Rudrapath. After worship in the evening, Baba Shri Mahakal was dressed in new clothes. Apart from this, Mekhla, Dupatta, Mukut, Chhatra, Mund Mala and Garland of fruits were also worn.
