It stated that he was promoted to the rank of Chief Health Inspector in the year 2011. There is no such post in the Municipal Corporation. In this regard, he had given a representation to the Divisional Commissioner and the Urban Administration Department. Acting on the representation, orders were issued to post the Corporate Commissioner Jabalpur as Senior Health Inspector. On not being promoted to Senior Health Officer, he had taken refuge in the High Court. The High Court had passed an order in his favor. On non-compliance of the order of the High Court, he filed a contempt petition in the High Court. It was told that the Municipal Corporation for the year 750 the said petition has been filed due to not being given the benefit of promotion pay. The single bench found during the hearing that the Municipal Corporation had made a mistake in giving promotion. Single bench awarded the petitioner with promotion salary and arrears along with other benefits from the year 2011 Orders have been issued to provide thousand rupees as compensation. Advocate Vikas Mahawar appeared on behalf of the petitioner. ,
