नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा के क्षेत्र में भी मध्यप्रदेश सबसे आगे है। ओंकारेश्वर में करीब 3500 करोड़ के निवेश से 600 मेगावॉट के फ्लोटिंग सोलर सोलर पॉवर प्लांट का काम शुरू हो चुका है। इसके अलावा खेतों में 50 हजार सोलर पंप लगाने की भी योजना है। विश्व धरोहर सांची बहुत जल्द सोलर सिटी के रूप में विकसित होकर देश में अपनी अलग पहचान बनाएगा।
