Apart from Chhindwara, BJP has registered victory in Bilhara and Badri of Sagar district, Jaura of Morena, Kotar of Satna, Budhar of Shahdol and Ratangarh of Neemuch. Congress candidates won councilor seats in Satna, Dongarparasia in Chhindwara, Sardarpur in Dhar, Satwas in Dewas, Shahpur in Burhanpur district and Sardarpur in Dhar.
